Raining on My Parade

I was looking forward to Jidai Matsuri which is one of Kyoto’s three great festivals. It’s a parade that  starts at the Imperial Palace and ends at the Heian Shrine. But the weather was uncooperative so Jidai Matsuri was postponed to the following day. I still went to the Imperial Palace to have a look while I got ready for the trip’s main event:  The Kurama Fire Festival.
