Rising Sun, Falling Water, and Sacred Mountain

Since we did not get to Chuzenji in time to see Kegon Falls, a decision was made to come back early the next day then return to Nikko in time for Autumn Festival parade. So we woke up early and took the same bus and the same winding road. Chuzenji was just as cold and quiet as the night before. But now the rising sun was kind enough to show us Kegon Falls and Mount Nantai, Nikko’s sacred volcano.
