Shooting Jeremy

He was playing volleyball with the chapel’s wall and didn’t say much, apart from his name. The chance encounter turned into a portrait session and he was the perfect subject.

A lot of children would have been self-conscious or resort to corny posing. Not Jeremy. He was open, curious, and natural. He didn’t ask me where to stand or where to put his hands. I’m not even sure he knew what I was doing, but it all seemed so effortless.

We didn’t exchange words, but he gave me the photos of Batanes I like best.

Thanks, Jeremy.
